Welcome to Mrs. Sims' third grade class at Wallace Gregg Elementary! My name is Lowandra Sims. I am delighted to have your child in my classroom this year! I graduated from University of Phoenix with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching at Wallace Gregg Elementary for the past ten years. I taught second grade my first year at Wallace Gregg, and for the last nine years I have been teaching third grade in all subject areas. What I like most about teaching is the smiles on my students’ faces when they’re learning something new. I always try to make learning fun and engaging for my students. Parent communication is very important to me. I like to build strong relationships with parents so that we can all work together to achieve what is best for our students. I’m excited about the upcoming school year, and I can’t wait to meet my new class!
