My name is John Propst.  I am a graduate of Francis Marion University, where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education.  I am a Florence native and attended Florence District One schools myself.  I love to be with my family and enjoy traveling, hiking, and camping.  I enjoy working with the students and other teachers at Moore Middle School and love being a part of our school family.

    I believe that every child is unique and needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature. All students learn differently and it is my desire as an educator to help students meet their full potential by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and open to new ideas.
