Wellness Policy

Welcome!
Florence 1 Schools places Students First by prioritizing whole child wellness as an essential part of academic success.
Guided by the CDC’s Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) model, the district partners with innovative organizations such as the MUSC Boeing Center for Children’s Wellness and Blue Zones to create healthy school environments that support every aspect of student well-being—because healthy children are better learners. The Farm at Florence 1 Schools further strengthens this commitment by providing hands-on opportunities for students to learn about agriculture, nutrition, and sustainability.
