Registration for returning students entering grades PK-12  will be completed using the snapcodes provided in an email sent to the parent/guardian. Snapcodes will also be mailed with Quarter 3 report cards. Families will not be able to register through my PowerSchool Parent account.

In order for your child to qualify for Florence One’s income-based 4K program, your child must:

• Be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2024

• Live within the Florence 1 Schools attendance zone and provide Proof of Residency, as outlined for all district students (link to proof of residency doc)

• Provide verification of qualifying income with a Medicaid Card,  parent pay stub, parent 2022 tax return, or parent 2022 W2

In order for your child to qualify for Florence One’s Employee 3K/4K program, your child must:

• Be 3 or 4 years old on or before September 1st, 2024

• Be the child of a current F1S employee now and at the start of the 2024 school year

• Provide Proof of Residency, as outlined for all district students (link to proof of residency doc)

Students must be registered by July 17, 2024 at 11:59 pm to receive bus transportation on the first day of school. Any students who are registered between July 18th - July 31st will receive transportation no later than August 12th. Students who are registered on August 1st or later will receive transportation no later than August 26th.

Yes, all documents must be submitted online. The registration process is not considered complete until all proof of residency documents are provided. Documents can easily be uploaded by taking a picture of them with your phone. Please note that registration cannot be edited once it is submitted. Elementary students attend the zoned school based on their home address.  Middle school students attend the school based on their current elementary school. High school students attend the zoned school based on their home address. To access the School Zone Lookup, visit the Zoning Information page at f1s.org/registration. Transfer request forms are available at the Office of Attendance and Zoning (see contact information below).  When submitting a request the parent will need to write a letter explaining in detail the reason for the transfer request and provide two proofs of residency along with a driver’s license/ID.  The request will be reviewed for a decision of approval.

Yes, you will need to provide information that is specific to each child. 

For the upcoming 24-25 school year, parents/guardians will be able to indicate an interest in their student participating in Extended Day during the district registration process. This action does not guarantee a spot in the Extended Day program. Parents/guardians will receive a notification from the Extended Day Department by June 3, 2024, if their child has been accepted.
