Programs for Exceptional Children
Florence District One provides a variety of programs and services for exceptional children. There are approximately 2,804 students enrolled in various special education programs throughout the district with approximately 214 special education employees including enhanced learning teachers, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Physical Therapists to meet the needs of each student. Our goal is to provide the most appropriate education possible to all students. Mrs. Kim Hamilton
I am Mrs. Hamilton and I am a enhanced learning teacher at Timrod Elementary. I am excited to have the honor of teaching your child this school year.
I have been teaching since 1999. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA.
