My name is José Melgarejo. I am a language teacher who comes from Barranquilla, Colombia. I studied Foreign Languages (English/French/German) at Universidad del Atlántico. I have been teaching languages (including Spanish) for more than 10 years at different universities and in a public school in my home country. I am currently finishing my Master's degree studies in Teaching Languages. 

I am a dynamic teacher who applies new technologies to education in order to fulfil all the requirements needed for qualified language learning in schools and universities. Working through the Communicative Approach will lead the language students to meaningful learning in which they do research and gain knowledge by themselves with the aid of the teacher.

I am also the Head Coach of the Girls Varsity Soccer team. I have been coaching soccer for 5 years now, both boys and girls. I also play and coach basketball and swimming.
