My name is Becky Handley and I’m an Enhanced Learning teacher for 1st thru 6th graders at Dewey L. Carter. I have been teaching for 35 years and love the challenges and opportunities the teaching profession brings. My motto is “All children can learn!” Everyone is different and finding out how a child learns best is my passion. A little more about myself: I attended Winthrop University earning my Bachelor’s degree in Special Education. I later went to Francis Marion University and earned my Master’s degree in teaching children with Learning Disabilities. I have completed National Board certification in Special Education ages 3-21. I look forward many more years teaching at DLC!
