    SCPASS Spring 2019 Test Administration Window

    Online and Paper/Pencil* Administration: the last twenty (20) days of school as determined by the district's instructional calendar. 

    Testing may not exceed eight (8) days with the exception of students with disabilities as specified in their IEPs or 504 plans (SCDE memo 8/15/16). Paper-based testing is available for students with disabilites who cannot take online assessments due to their disabilites, as specified in their IEPs or 504 plans, ELL plans or as approved by the State Board of Education. 


    About SCPASS - Subjects and Grade Levels Tested

    The South Carolina Palmetto Assessment of State Standards (SCPASS) is a statewide assessment administered to students in grades four, six and eight for science and grades three and five for social studies. All students in these grade levels are required to take the SCPASS except those who qualify for the South Carolina Alternate Assessment (SC-Alt). SCPASS includes tests in two subjects: science and social studies.
