My name is Veronica Gainey and I am the School Counselor at McLaurin Elementary School. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Limestone University and a Master of Education in School Counseling from Cambridge College. I became a School Counselor in 2011. 

 

My focus is individual and small group counseling as well as large group/classroom guidance lessons. The classroom lessons will be based on American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Mindsets and Behaviors for student success, which incorporates the  three broad domains of academic, career and social /emotional development.
