Elementary School Visual Arts
Visual Art education in Florence One Schools begins in Kindergarten. Students in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade attend weekly art classes taught by certified visual arts teachers. Elementary Art engages students in hands on creation, exposure, and response to visual art and artistic expression. Elementary students and teachers share their art throughout the district and community.
Middle School Visual Arts
Students in middle school visual arts classes focus on large scale visual art concepts and begin to fully develop the find motor skills needed to produce outstanding work. Middle School students and teachers share their art throughout the district and community.
High School Visual Arts
Students in high school visual arts classes expand their understanding of art skills and processes in studio production, criticism, and art history. Additionally, they explore advanced techniques with two and three-dimensional art work. High School students and teachers share their art throughout the district and community.
