My name is Joel Narvaez. I am a Spanish teacher at South Florence High School. I am from Colombia, South America. This is my third year at Florence 1. Learning langauges is an opportunity to learn about new cultures. I am so excited that I will be learning about the students' cultures and they will be learning about mine. I have a bachelor degree in Education and a specialization in teaching English as a second language. 

I truly believe that every student deserves an excellent education.

I also believe that when students, teachers, administrators and community work together, we all can build great generations and a better world.
