    Greenwood Elementary where students SOAR! At Greenwood Elementary we show Self control, stay On task, complete our work with a great Attitude, and are always Respectful. Greenwood is committed to helping all students reach their greatest potential, by servicing over 700 students with our Highly Qualified Teachers in Kindergarten through 6th Grade, a wonderful team of Administrators and Curriculum Coaches, and has done so since the 1960's.

  • F1S Final Instructional Change Period for 2020-2021 School Year

    F1S will begin a 5 Day Instructional Model for all students. Students who are currently A/B Day Cohort will automatically be moved to 5 days of In-Person Instruction, which will mean an increase in class size. Students who are currently virtual will remain virtual. ONLY complete this survey if you want to CHANGE the format of your instruction from in-person to virtual or from virtual to in-person. The survey is found on the F1S website of go to http://bit.ly/F1S5Days. Survey will close on Monday, March 15th @ noon. Schools will continue to follow DHEC guidelines for In-Person Instruction. The change will take place Monday, April 12, 2021.

    Please complete this survey if you are interested in the Extended Day Academy after school program at our school. If we have 12 or more students interested, we will open the program after spring break. The cost of the program is $60.00 per week for each child.

  • REACH Bridge Test with Sixth Grade Students

    Sixth grade REACH students planned, created and tested their toothpick bridge. The students went through the entire engineering process to understand how construction projects work.

    Too many absences - excused or unexcused - can keep students from succeeding in school and life. How many are too many? 10% of the school year - that's 18 missed days or 2 days a month - can knock students off track.

  • Students need to wear gym shoes for P.E.

    With the opening of the new gym, students should wear gym shoes for P.E. Students will not be allowed to participate in P.E. class if the correct shoes are not worn.

  • International Baccaluareate Program Recruiting Students for Middle Years Program

    Williams Middle Schools, an International Baccalaureate World School, is currently recruiting students for admission into its International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (MYP) for the 2021-2022 school year.
